Shir Shalom


Shir Shalom is an attorney in our firm, responsible for handling real estate, land taxation, cooperative societies and rural settlements.

Shir accompanies the firm's clients in the various stages of real estate transactions situated in both rural and urban areas, starting with the negotiation process, through the drawing of the various agreements accompanying the real estate transaction and through to the activities that are carried out following its signature (including handling the tax and municipal taxation of the transaction).

Shir also practices in the field of cooperative associations in our firm and provides ongoing counsel to rural settlements, including accompaniment of the cooperative in various procedures with the Israel Lands Authority and with the members of the association.

In addition, she specializes in implementing community property extensions in various settlements, represents the amendment of statutes and other actions vis-à-vis the Registrar of Cooperative Associations, various government bodies, members of the association and external association members in disagreements with other members or with the association itself.

Having completed her internship at the Tax Authority’s Income Tax Commission in Tel Aviv, Shir served as a liaison in the Land Registry office and also provided legal advice and representation for local authorities.

In addition, Shir served for one year as the editor of Mishmar Ve'Sviva – where she covered environmental policy in the Knesset (the Israeli parliament), with emphasis on the Planning and Building Reform.
